MQFF continues to program Israeli films that paint Israel as a liberal-progressive society.
They erase the atrocities committed against queer Palestinians to this day.
Today, Israeli authorities threaten to out queer Palestinians if they do not cooperate with the
illegal occupation.
Queer Palestinian voices are unsafe at MQFF, and continue to be threatened as long as Israeli narratives remain dominant.
The pressure that we've put on MQFF through various BDS actions this year is working.
MQFF recently released a statement responding to our call for boycott.
However, a statement without action is meaningless.
MQFF have kept Adam Kalderon's The Swimmer in their programming.
